Professional Experience
Matthew Gorman joined CBRE as Senior Vice President in 2015 specializing in the sale of Net Lease properties in the Mid-Atlantic Region and throughout the country. Matthew and his team's primary goal is to execute for their clients at the highest level by representing their best interests professionally, honestly and with integrity in all aspects of the marketing and sales process.
Shortly after joining CBRE, Matthew was inducted into the exclusive Net Lease Property Group, leading the Philadelphia region with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States. CBRE's Net Lease Property Group consists of a national team of select senior advisors located in major metropolitan areas across the United States that specialize and are dedicated to transacting single-tenant assets and net-lease portfolios nationwide.
In 2017, Matthew was nominated by Real Estate Forum as a Top Investment Sales Broker for being among the top-producing brokers in the United States. At year-end 2016, Matthew ranked in the top 20 producers in the Country for investment sales at CBRE, and top 10 among all producers in the Philadelphia Region. He also received a 2016 CoStar Power Broker Award as a Top Sales Broker in the Philadelphia MSA. Throughout his 15-year career in real estate, Matthew has participated in over 650 transactions equaling more than $2.2 billion dollars of commercial real estate.
Matthew began his career in investment sales with Marcus & Millichap in January 2005. Over the course of his tenure at M&M he was promoted through the ranks eight times ultimately achieving Vice President of Investments and Director of the National Retail Group. Matthew spent the early years of his career as a Branch Manager for Univest, a regional bank in the Philadelphia area and as an Account Manager for Cigna Group Insurance Company before entering the real estate industry. Matt earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing paired with a minor in Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating in 2003.
