Professional Experience
After just 4 years with CBRE, Todd Husak had risen from Sales Assistant to become the youngest Managing Director in the Western Region. Now in his 14th year with the company, Todd is responsible for overseeing all strategic planning, business development, and transaction services in the greater Palo Alto and San Francisco Peninsula area.
In brokerage, Todd specializes in advising professional service firms, start-ups, and some of the fastest growing high technology companies in the Bay Area. He understands short and long-term strategic decision making and works with his clients to deliver great outcomes. Todd is committed to providing the best services through in-depth market knowledge, the ability to offer creative solutions, and can deliver the platform that CBRE offers which is second to none in the commercial real estate industry.
In addition to management and brokerage, Todd also leads the CBRE Tech and Media Practice Group, which consists of 50 brokers nationally and internationally who focus on advising technology companies. This involves sharing of best practices, strategies, and case studies from around the globe, and in turn offers our clients a higher level of service.
Prior to joining CBRE, Todd was an assistant coach for the Stanford University football team while earning a Master’s degree from the Stanford School of Education. From 2000-2005, Todd played in the NFL with stops in Washington DC, New York, Denver, and Cleveland. In 1999, Todd led Stanford football to its first conference championship and Rose Bowl appearance in 28 years and was named 1st team All PAC 10 Conference. He still ranks among the leaders in school history in passing yards, touchdowns and total offense.
Todd maintains close ties to Stanford University and the athletic department through fundraisers and community service projects. He is the radio color analyst for the Stanford football team and works alongside fellow alum Scott Reiss. He is an active member in SPIRE, or Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, where Todd serves as a mentor for students interested in commercial real estate as well as networking with fellow alumni. Todd is committed to improving the Palo Alto community and volunteers for a number of organizations including EPATT, Coaching Corps, Right to Play, Positive Coaching Alliance, CoachArt and the Child & Family Institute.
Todd currently resides in Menlo Park with his wife and 3 children. He coaches little league baseball and is President of the St. Raymond Father’s Club which supports the school’s athletic teams, academic programs, and provides scholarship assistance. He also enjoys golf, basketball and travel.
